Clearing's Allocation Reports let you build detailed financial reports for your management company and your homeowners, filtered by asset, owner, channel, and date range, and exported to CSV, PDF, or sent to QuickBooks.
Accessing Allocation Reports
Log in to your Clearing account and go to "Reporting," then "Allocation Reports." From here you can view "All Allocations" together, or view an individual liability type on its own: Management, Owner, Tax, Security Deposit, Vendor, or Excluded. If you use the co-host model, you'll also see "To Collect From Owner," this option is strictly for co-host statements and only appears for customers who have Co-Host Statements enabled on their account.
All Allocations
"All Allocations" shows every liability account together (Management, Owner, Tax, Security Deposit, Vendor, Excluded, and To Collect From Owner for co-host accounts) for a given time range in a single report. You can still add filters and aggregate the results by owner or asset, the same as with an individual report.
Use this view when you want the full picture across every liability type at once, rather than looking at one type in isolation.
Individual Allocation Reports
Selecting a specific liability type (Management, Owner, Tax, Security Deposit, Vendor, Excluded, or To Collect From Owner for co-host accounts) gives you that report on its own. Unlike "All Allocations," an individual report can also be broken down month by month across a wide date range, so you can see how that liability type trended over time rather than just a single total for the period.
Generating a Management Report
Step 1: Select the Management Report
Click "Management."
Step 2: Select Filters
Choose the filters you want, such as assets, owners, channel, status, and the relevant date range.
Step 3: Choose the Aggregation Level
Decide whether to aggregate the data by asset, by homeowner, or across all assets and homeowners.
Step 4: Generate and Review
Click "Generate." The report breaks down management commission, markup on expenses, Airbnb resolution payments, reimbursable expenses, deductible transactions, and all credits and debits.
Step 5: Export
Export the report as a CSV or PDF, or send it directly to QuickBooks.
Generating a Homeowner Report
Step 1: Select the Owner Report
Click "Owner."
Step 2: Select Filters
Choose the filters you want for assets and date range.
Step 3: Choose the Aggregation Level
Aggregate by asset or by homeowner, or leave it set to "All" for every asset and every homeowner.
Step 4: Generate and Review
Click "Generate." The report shows a detailed breakdown of management commission, markups, Airbnb resolution payments, and the credits and debits for that owner or property (or all owners and properties, depending on your filters).
Step 5: Export
Export the report as a CSV or PDF for further analysis or to share with the homeowner.
Tip: The Tax, Security Deposit, Vendor, Excluded, and To Collect From Owner reports follow the same steps as above, select the report type, set your filters and aggregation level, then generate and export. To Collect From Owner is strictly for the co-host model and only appears for customers with Co-Host Statements enabled.
