Clearing's Chrome extension syncs your Hospitable payouts directly into your Transactions, matching each deposit to its reservation automatically. This keeps your bank deposits reconciled without manual entry.
How to sync Hospitable payouts
Go to my.hospitable.com/direct/payout-history and make sure you're logged in.
Open the Clearing Chrome extension and select Hospitable.
The extension will pull in your Settled deposits. You don't need to page through your payout history manually. The extension loops through pages for you.
How matching works
Clearing matches each synced payout to the corresponding bank deposit when:
The asset field on the bank transaction is empty
The transaction is not locked
Because Hospitable deposits are 1:1 with a booking, the entire deposit amount is matched to a single reservation. This is different from channels like Airbnb, where one deposit often bundles several bookings together.
Categorizing Hospitable payouts
To set a default category for Hospitable payouts so they don't need manual categorization every time:
Go to Rules then On Transactions
Select By Type Of Transactions
Choose Hospitable Payout and assign your default category.
