Integrate your Clearing account with Streamline

Connect Streamline PMS with Clearing to automate trust accounting, owner payouts, and financial reporting for enterprise STR operations.

Written by Clearing

Managing financial workflows can become increasingly complex as vacation rental businesses scale. Clearing integrates with Streamline to connect property and booking data with automated bookkeeping, trust accounting, owner payouts, and financial reporting.

Once connected, the Streamline + Clearing integration unlocks powerful automation for your back office:

  • Seamless Booking Sync – Reservations from Streamline flow directly into Clearing, powering automated trust accounting and reconciliation.

  • Faster Statement Generation – Generate accurate, audit‑ready owner and management reports—cutting hours off month‑end.

  • Clearer Financials – Revenue, fees, and reimbursable expenses are mapped to the right properties for transparent, property‑level reporting.

  • Effortless Compliance – Track homeowner funds, advanced deposits, and liabilities with precision—keeping your business always audit‑ready.

  • Vendor Pay Simplified – Manage service providers, send ACH payments, and keep a full payout history by property—with a dedicated vendor portal available for added visibility.

  • Expense Automation – Cleaning, maintenance, and other costs are categorized instantly, turning messy receipts into clean, usable data.

Steps for integration

Step 1: Connect with Streamline

Whether you’re connecting to Clearing for the first time or you’re an existing client switching your property management system to Streamline, choose the instructions that match your situation below.

Step 1.1: Connecting through the Clearing Onboarding Wizard - New Signup

When prompted to connect your property management system, choose Streamline.

Step 1.2: Connecting through your Clearing Account - Existing Client

Login to your Clearing account and go to “Settings” → “Integrations”.

In the PMS section, click “+ Connect” and select “Streamline” from the list of available PMS’. If a PMS is already connected, click “Manage PMS Integration”.

Step 2: Retrieve Streamline Token Key & Secret

For token generation, please use the self-serve option within Streamline.

Step 2.1: Self-Service Token Generation

Click the “Self-Service Onboarding” option on the admin home page.

Step 2.2: Find Clearing Tech Inc.

Scroll down to find Clearing Tech Inc and click the “Get Tokens” button.

Step 2.3: Enter Password & Confirm

Enter password and click “I agree” to generate the Token Key and Secret.

Step 2.4: Enter Token Key & Secret Into Clearing

Next, enter the “Token Key” and “Token Secret” you established within Streamline into Clearing.

Step 3: Confirm Connection

Once connected, please verify that the status of the PMS integration is “Connected”.

Step 4: Confirm the integration and pull assets into Clearing

Once the integration has been connected, your properties can pull into Clearing automatically (may be a slight delay). You can always add more as your business grows. As a reminder, you can manage this integration anytime from the "Integrations" section in Clearing.

Step 5: Configure your assets from within Clearing

When assets are available, complete this step by naming your assets (or leave them the same as how they are named in Streamline which will appear automatically). Decide if you'd like to group assets, and configure these groups accordingly (once the assets appear in Clearing's "Assets and Owners" section).

That’s it! You’ve successfully integrated Clearing with Streamline.
