Integrate your Clearing account with Direct

Integrate Clearing with Direct to automate transaction reconciliation, streamline financial reporting, and implement trust accounting.

Written by Clearing

Managing Short-Term Rental finances can be complex, especially when handling multiple properties, bank accounts, and owner processes. Clearing integrates with Direct to simplify these workflows by automatically syncing property and booking data between both platforms.

Once connected, Clearing helps automate transaction categorization, reconciliation, owner payouts, trust accounting, and financial reporting. This reduces manual work and helps property managers maintain more accurate and efficient financial operations

Steps for integration

Step 1: Initialize the integration from within Clearing

  • Already signed up for Clearing? - follow these steps

If you have already signed up for Clearing and can access your dashboard - the first step will be to click your name in the bottom left of the platform and select “Integrations”.

Click the “+ Connect” button and select “Direct” from the list that follows.

You will be asked to provide your organization number to proceed with the connection. You can find your organization number at the top of the integration marketplace page in the Direct software.

Please note that once you click Connect below, the Direct team needs to activate your integration. It may take a couple hours to do so, so it is normal if you don't see your listings right away in the following page.

Step 2: Confirm your assets within Clearing

Once the integration has been connected, your properties will pull into Clearing automatically (slight delay with Direct) and you can always add more as your business grows.

Step 3: Configure your assets from within Clearing

When assets are available, complete this step by naming your assets (or leave them the same as how they are named in Direct which will appear automatically). Decide if you'd like to group assets, and configure these groups accordingly (once the assets appear in Clearing's "Assets and Owners" section beyond this registration wizard).

Step 4: You’re All Set! 🚀
