Can I use an external bank account to pay?

  • Yes, you can use your external bank account as a source of funds to make payments with Clearing. If your external bank account is not available as a source of funds, it may be because your bank does not support third-party applications like Clearing for making payments. Troubleshooting options include checking the account details and clicking on "learn more about paying from this account" to verify payment eligibility.

How can I create a new recipient?

How can I match a transaction with a payment initiated in Clearing?

When you make a payment using Clearing, you can either pay from an external bank account or from your Clearing balance.

  • Paying with Clearing Balance: A pending transaction is automatically created with the details (category, asset, owner) you entered during the payment process.

  • Paying with an External Bank Account: The transaction will only appear once your external bank notifies us that the money has left your account. This transaction will need to be matched with the payment you initiated in Clearing since we don't control when or how your bank sends us the payment information.

To match a transaction:

1. Click on the transaction you wish to match with an existing payment.

2. Scroll to the section "Match with payment initiated in Clearing."

3. Find the corresponding match in the dropdown menu.

4. Click "Confirm."

This ensures that your payment records are accurate and properly reconciled.

Can I delete an existing recipient?

  • Yes, click on Manage recipient and then on recipient details. Youā€™ll find a button to delete it.
